A belated b-day present for my friend's 19th b-day! He's not one of her characters, but he is definitely inspired by her wonderful character designs. I think he's playing tag with someone or evading a photographer...;) His species is possibly a desert jackal/fox cross. I used mainly acrylics with some gouache for the costume details. It was a lot of fun to paint :)

Hehe thanks :D I used gouache on the clothing and those paints tend to be bright :P

This is totally awesome. :D I love his dynamic running pose and the effect of the fully-colored backdrop together with the design and colors of his clothing. There really is a nice color harmony going with this scene. The hints of red in his fur are a great touch, too.
